Jump the Vortex are Barbara (piano and accordion), Martyn (violin) and Colin (guitar and bass). They have played together for twelve years and have provided the music for many folk and barn dances across Herts, Beds, Bucks and Cambridgeshire and also at Cecil Sharp House in London, home of the EFDSS. They have worked with a large number of well-known callers from London and the Home Counties and can normally arrange a caller for you dance. For those not requiring the full band, Barbara will also call for dances by herself providing music with her own sound system.

Jump the Vortex play a wide range of folk and barn dance music and can accommodate most requirements.
